EBIO-METRONICS ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD (EMR) SYSTEM: is very simple to learn and easiest EMR to use on a daily basis.  It is a browser based application in which the main program runs on the Linux Operating System.  All data is stored on a designated server, therefore workstations have no minimum requirements other than the ability to run a modern browser.  For small practices who do not find it feasible to host their own server, we provide an ASP model (application service provider)/ SaaS (software as a service) which is an online system.
Hardware needed to host our EMR system:
1. Workstations  - a PC capable of running a modern browser, such as Windows XP or above. For greater mobility around your office, we also recommend tablets for all providers.
2.  Document Scanners:  capable of scanning multiple pages quickly.  We recommend Fujitsu scanners fi 6230 and 5110C.  The fi6230 being the larger flatbed scanner for high speed scanning of documents, and the smaller version the 5110C for scanning patient insurance cards, forms, and other documents.
3.  Web Camera:  Used to take pictures of the patients. Recommended model is a Logitech QuickC am Orbit AF webcam, it is fully motorized and very easy to operate.
4.  Printer: any network attached printer will do. 
5.  Server:  We recommend Dell servers, specifically the T610 model.  Server configuration should be at a minimum:
Configuration: Primary processor: Intel Xeon E5520, 2.26 Ghz, 8 M cache, Turbo, HT, 1066 MHZ max memory
Memory (RAM): 4 GB Memory (2X2GB), 1066 Mhz Dual Ranked UDIMMS for 1 processor, Adv ECC
Operating system: Linux (No need to buy, we will provide)
Primary controller: PERC 6/i SAS RAID Controller, 2X4 connectors, internal, PCie, 256 MB Cache
Hard Drive Configuration: RAID 5 for PERC 6/I Controller
Chassis: Tower chassis for up to eight 3.5 inch hard drives (PowerEdge T610)
Hard Drives: 500 GB 7.2K RPM SATA 3.5 inch hot plug hard drive (X3 due to RAID 5 Configuration)
Internal optical drive: DVD –ROM, SATA, Internal
Other: Monitor, Key board, mouse and power cord
For  Data Back up:
Removable disc: RD 1000, Internal SATA Drive bay for 3.5 inch chassis
Media: QTY 5, RD 1000 Internal removable Hard disk for RD 1000, 160 GB Native/320GB compressed
